At Amazonia Spirits, we take the utmost care about the environment preservation, that is one of our core values. During the last year, in our exploration and research phase, we had the chance to visit some of the most beautiful ecosystems in the world, traveling through South America in order to find the finest ingredients for the best alcohol-free gin we realize how is our responsibility to take care of the planet, to help at least a little bit to preserve those ecosystems.
We strongly believe that the key of a sustainable production is to give back to nature more than what we take.
In order to achieve this motivation we decided to first of all, hand pick our ingredients producers, making sure that all our ingredients are sourced in a responsible and respectful way.
Then, we ensure that all our packaging is plastic free. We all know how bad is for the environment plastic, right? we do not want that in our product.
And last but not least, we are 100% carbon neutral. We calculate our company carbon footprint, taking in account every step of production and shipping, then we neutralize it by planting the necessary amounts of trees to offset our footprint in the rural areas of the Guavio province of Colombia, South America.
These are the steps we follow in Amazonia Spirits to be as sustainable as possible. Of course, this is just the beginning, in the future we hope to be able to help further to preserve the environment and ensure a more sustainable industry.
